Tenterfield is known as "The Birthplace of Our Nation" and is situated on the New England Highway between Glen Innes and Stanthorpe, 3 hours drive from Brisbane and on the Bruxner Highway, west of Casino, 2.5 hours from Byron Bay, 2 hours from Lismore, See the map of where we are situated.
There are many National Parks which offer great walks and our famous granite rock known as Bald Rock, which is a great climb. The The Sir Henry Parkes Memorial School of Arts Museum is a short walk from the motel and is a must to visit. The Tenterfield Railway Station & Museum is also not far away and is an outstanding asset to Tenterfield.
